Nestled in a serene neighborhood south of Newcastle, this newer hotel offers a pleasing balance between value and comfort. Our spacious room featured a king bed with surprisingly pleasant pillows—a rarity in my travels. Housekeeping maintained an exceptional standard of cleanliness, enhancing our stay. While it is about 4km from the city center, the tranquil surroundings make it a welcome escape from urban hustle. The outdoor swimming pool looked inviting, though we didn’t have time for a dip. With attentive staff who readily shared dining suggestions from local to Japanese cuisine, I felt well looked after—thanks to a particularly helpful gentleman at reception. Considering the cleanliness, modern facilities, and space, it seems a smart choice for families or couples looking to enjoy both comfort and the charms of rural Newcastle without stretching the budget too far.
